American tennis star Bethanie Mattek-Sands was hastened to a hospice on Thursday after suffering a merciless knee hurt during a Wimbledon match.
Mattek-Sands, 32, was vying against Sorana Cirstea when she plunged on special courts and bawled out in pain.
” Help me, help me, please !” she hollered out after crumbling to the ground.
Cirstea told BBC News that she had never seen such an injury.
” It was like something you receive simply in the movies ,” Cirstea answered.” I tried to ease her but I panicked. I appeared impractical. All she kept doing was,’ Sorana, help me, cure me .'”
The extent of Mattek-Sands’ hurt was still not known.
Mattek-Sands was bind with Cirsea, at one named apiece, as video games foreman into the third set at the All England Club. They had been dallying for 13 times when the trauma happened.
Mattek-Sands was forced to retire from the game and was taken to a infirmary after more than 20 hours of on-court management by medical staff. Her spouse, Justin, was also on special courts comforting her.
