Brian Kesinger( previously here) is a visual creator who has worked for Walt Disney Studios for over 16 years, but his work outside of the movie business comes fans vanishing as much as his animation. This time he has created a supernatural mashup universe, putting a Calvin And Hobbes twist on everybody’s favorite Star Wars: The Force Awakens personas, and it manipulates perfectly.
“Being a kid in the ‘8 0s I was promoted on a continuous food of Disney, Star Wars, and comic books, so being able to work on so many stunning films and projects should certainly been a illusion is true, ” Brian told The Verge. Kesinger acknowledged admiring Bill Watterson, the inventor of Calvin& Hobbes passionately. “I was always astounded at how he could describe anything from charming stuffed monsters to pitiless fossils piloting fighter jets. His inking vogue was so casual and loose and more the paints were so solid.”
“I’m not the first to mash-up Calvin& Hobbes with pop culture, ” the craftsman who has worked on Wreck-It Ralph, Tangled, and Tarzan said. “[ but] I conceive certain differences here is that I moved a bit deeper with the relevant recommendations. Once I really made the comparison that Kylo Ren was maybe a difficult child often like Calvin, it truly reverberated with parties. The allegory was solid when I manufactured Darth Vader Kylo’s imaginary friend.”
